The GV-LPR CAM is a weatherproof IR camera designed for license plate recognition. It provides 570TVL high-contrast video no matter in deep shadow, strong or low sunlight to the GV-LPR software that identifies license plates. The camera also features a weather-sealed IP66-compliant housing with the heater and blower inside.

Notes: GV-LPR CAM comes with a free GV-LPR Software, and the supplied GV-USB Dongle will need to be inserted to run the software. Since the free GV-LPR Software is a Trial Edition, it can only capture the license plate images and does not support the license plate recognition function. Therefore, the word ”Capture” will be displayed in the license plate recognition results.

Infra-Red Illumination Design
GV-IR CAM uses the high power LED design and can not only provide at least 20,000 hours LED lift. but also with low power consumption (IR on: 10.2W MAX.).

Integrated with extra camera for overview image
When suitable lighting conditions are available, a color overview image of the vehicle can be capture by extra suitable color camera and associated with the captured license plate image.
